How to print and use them

1. Print double-sided and flip on the long edge, so each answer lands behind its question. No duplex printer? Print the two pages and glue them back to back.
2. Cut on the dashed lines: 12 cards per sheet.
3. Shuffle, answer, flip. Put the ones you missed in a separate pile and go through that pile again.

Common questions

Do flash cards work for learning times tables?

They help with recall, especially when you sort the cards into a known pile and a not-yet pile and spend most of the time on the second one.

How many cards should we do at a time?

One table, 12 cards, is a good session for most kids. Mix in a few known cards so it doesn't feel like only mistakes.
