Switching to Math Daily
Coming from flash cards, worksheets or another math app? There's no account to make and nothing to move. Here's what changes, and how your first day goes.
From flash cards and worksheets
- The same facts, without the shuffling. A round is ten problems, and Math Daily keeps your time and score.
- Misses don't get lost in the pile. Each one gets a tip, comes back the next day and feeds “Practice your weak spots”.
- Paper still has a place. Print a practice sheet of your weak spots, with an answer key.
From another math app
- Nothing to sign in to. No account, no class code and no password. Open the app and start.
- Nothing in the way. No ads and no energy limits. The free app has unlimited rounds.
- About a minute a round. Short enough to do every day, and daily practice is what makes facts stick.
Your first day
- Get Math Daily on your iPhone or iPad. It's free.
- Say who's practicing: a kid learning the basics, a student building speed or an adult keeping sharp.
- Pick what to work on, like times tables or money and percentages, and a daily goal.
- Five quick problems find your level, and your streak starts. Kids start with ten easy problems and pick each answer from four.
What comes with you
There's nothing to import. Your progress in another app stays there, and Math Daily finds your level again in the first round. From then on, your history stays on your device and syncs to your other iPhone and iPad through your own iCloud.
Questions before you switch
Is Math Daily free?
Yes. The free app has unlimited 10-problem rounds of +, −, ×, ÷ and %, the times tables path, streaks, widgets and the Apple Watch app. Math Daily Pro adds chain problems, Hard mode, longer rounds and a round of your past mistakes.
Is it for kids or adults?
Both. Kids can pick from four answers instead of typing. Adults get quicker mental arithmetic, plus tips, discounts and splitting the bill.
Can brothers and sisters share it?
Math Daily keeps one player's progress and syncs it through iCloud. For separate streaks, each child needs their own device signed in to their own Apple Account.
Does it work on Android or a Chromebook?
No. Math Daily is for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch.
Can a teacher use it with a class?
Math Daily has no class accounts or teacher reports. It's made for practice at home, alongside school.
